Bay Area Veterinary Specialists (BAVS)
provides state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapeutics in a caring environment. We are one of the few 24-hour Specialty and Critical Care facilities in Northern California providing expert care to you and your pet around the clock.
The specialists at BAVS work as a team to provide multi-specialty care for your pet. It is our goal that your pet receives the utmost supportive, endearing care while benefiting from our combined knowledge and technical skills.
What You Can Expect
Your veterinarian will recommend a specialist who can best help your pet. Please bring any supportive documentation of your pet's condition for the initial appointment including records, lab work, x-rays and medications.
The initial consultation will take approximately one hour. If diagnostic or therapeutic procedures need to be done, your pet may need to stay longer. We will continue to work with you and your pet throughout the duration of the illness for which you sought our attention.
Because our hospital is designed to be an extension of services provided by your family veterinarian, we request that you keep a relationship with your animal's primary care veterinarian for all of your pet's basic needs.
